Every child, one voice.

 The GREEN Corner

The Glyndon Elementary PTA is made up of parents and teachers who are working to enhance every child’s education. We are a diverse group, and would be thrilled and honored to include you!

The PTA supports many programs for Glyndon, including academic programs such as cultural arts assemblies and class field trips; outreach projects such as food drives and support for the local crisis center; and community events. Of course, none of these are possible without the support of our families, neighbors and friends. ANY help, whether it’s a gift of time or financial support, is very appreciated and makes a REAL difference. So please, give what you can. Join the PTA.

Are you able to volunteer? Glyndon Elementary PTA volunteer openings fit every schedule: some require only 2 hours per year! There are multiple one-time events throughout the year, as well as ongoing programs. Let us know what your schedule will accommodate, and we will help you find the volunteer opening that fits you. Often, work can be done from home or your office.

Fundraisers are another way to support your school. This year, we will be selling Innisbrook during the fall and Joe Corbi during the spring, as well as the fall and spring Scholastic Book Fairs. Proceeds from these sales provide funds for school programs—your participation ensures that they can continue!

Our Executive Board meetings are usually held on the second Monday of each month at 7:15 pm in the school library. (Please see the PTA Calendar for the actual schedule.) The meetings are open to everyone and they generally last about one hour. We really encourage you to come!

Our website (www.glyndonpta.org) is the source for news, updates, and schedules of upcoming events. We will update frequently throughout the year, so please visit often!

If you have any suggestions or comments about PTA, please feel free to contact us. We want the PTA to be representative of everyone, so let us hear from you! We are anticipating a great year, and we look forward to working with you.
